State the question first
Choose one point to understand: a role, a legal play or a scoring component. Do not ask a single example to explain every convention and exception at once.
Preserve the context
Write the contract, declarer, vulnerability, doubling state and result before discussing a score. For a play question, keep the relevant seat and turn information visible.
Separate process from outcome
A favourable result does not explain why every earlier choice was sound. Discuss what was known at the time. Keep later information out of the original reasoning.
End with a usable note
Write one corrected explanation and one next question. This is an original learning routine, not expert analysis or a claim about an optimal line of play.
